Will it actually stay on my floor?
That's the objection we designed against, because it's the one that killed the last mat. Suction cups across the underside plus 925 g of weight, on vinyl, hardwood, tile and sealed concrete. Wet them before you press down — that's the whole trick, and it's on the quick-start card. It won't hold on carpet or textured stone. If it doesn't hold on your floor, that's a refund.
My dog is a chewer. Will he destroy it?
It's food-grade silicone and a moulded object rather than a thin sheet, which is a real difference. But we're not going to tell you a determined chewer can't damage silicone, because that's the most common complaint in this whole category and you'd find out. Supervise him, take it up when the food's gone, and don't leave it down as a toy. If he wrecks it in the first thirty days, we'll refund it.
My dog has a flat face. Will he be able to use it?
This is the reason the surface is raised relief instead of deep walled channels. Standard maze channels are cut narrow and as tall as the bowl rim, which is exactly why Frenchies, Bulldogs, Pugs and Boxers can't reach the food.
What if he refuses it?

Can I feed his dry kibble on it?
No — and this is the honest limit of the product. The relief is raised, not walled, so dry kibble rolls off instead of settling in. This is a licking surface: spreads, wet food, yogurt, pâté, anything you can smear or freeze. If the problem you are solving is a dog who inhales dry food in forty seconds, what you want is a maze bowl. We would rather you bought the right thing than returned ours.
How long will one fill hold him?
Longer frozen than soft, longer for a small dog than a big one, and longer than a flat mat — which is the only comparison we'll actually stand behind. We haven't printed a number because nobody in this category can substantiate theirs. Time it yourself: time the mat you own, then time this one. Is it safe to leave him with it?
No — stay in the room. An independent vet is on record that no dog should be left alone with a lick mat, and the most common serious complaint in this category is a chewing-and-ingestion incident.
